Here we have some custom pieces that I have built over the years. I always enjoy the challange of custom work, knowing that the finished project is going to be a one-of-a-kind.
Garden Wind Mill
This wonderful piece was commissioned for a clients garden. Wind mill stands approx. 5ft high to the top of the blades and approx. 30" wide at the bottom railing. The bottom walkway is made from expanded metal and is 6" wide which allows for potted plants. The blades do spin and can be removed. It was left in it's natural metal colour and coated with many coats of clear finish.
Saxophone Display Case
This display case was commissioned to display a fathers treasured saxophone and favorite piece of music. The shadow box dispaly is lined with a velvet like material and is padded. The display widow is done with a custom picture frame and glass and is hinged at the top so the items can be removed. The favorite sheet music is custom framed and set in the case.
Wheat Display
This display case was commissioned to display a sample of first wheat grown. Display case is made from 100+ year ols barnboard with glass on either side. Wheat is held upright with custom barbwire. Wheat curnals line the bottom. Display stands approx. 14" high.
Grey Hound
This wonderful grey hound was hand hammered from 2 flat sheet metal pieces. The legs, tail and snout are soild steel. Grey hound is approx. 10" long
Fire Pit Cover
This fire pit cover is made from 22 gauge steel and painted with many coats of flat black heat paint. Cover is approx. 22" across and 10" high.
Oil Service Rig
This detailed oil servive rig was welded from new and recycled materials. Approx. 12" long and 12" high.
Custom Bookends
This set of bookends was a special comission and given as a Christmas gift. The two halves represent a few specifics of the clients brothers personality.
The one half shows his love of sports, shown by the football, baseball bat and team pennents. His appreciation of comic books and beloved dog are also represented. The two record albums are a reminder of a cute childhood story.
The other half shows his fondness for carpentry and building. Some details include a step ladder, hand saw, tool box, square, hammer, pliers and an electric drill. This was truely a charished piece.

Custom Boot/Shoe Rack
This boot/shoe storage rack was build for a customer to replace an exsisting handrail. When finished this storage unit now uses the space more effectively, storing boots, shoes, mitts, gloves, hats, etc..
